Irrigation Components International (ICII) is pleased to introduce a clean, efficient and ecologically safe way to fill and drain oil from center pivot gearboxes.

The “Easy Fill” system is available with either a top or bottom fill valve. The top fill valve is vented so you can pump oil directly into the gearbox. The top fill valve simply screws into the existing fill plug. Then you connect the special easy fill interlocking coupler to the top fill valve. Now you are ready to pump oil directly into the gearbox. The bottom fill operates in a similar manner. You would screw in the bottom fill valve into the existing drain valve at the bottom of the gearbox. Then hook up the fill hose to the fill valve. With the valve open, start pumping the oil. When the oil level reaches the plug opening on the top of the gearbox, you’re through!

The “Easy Drain” system has solved the problem with disposing of water and contaminated oil from center pivot gearboxes. Here is how it works; Remove the bottom drain valve from the existing gearboxes and install the easy drain valve. When doing your annual field servicing, all you have to do is open the valve 1 turn. You will see the water exit first, and then followed by the milky, contaminated oil. When you see clear oil, simply tighten the valve 1 turn. You have accomplished the draining process without getting oil on yourself and the surrounding soil!
